Dieses Dokument beschreibt die grundlegende Architektur des BIAF Data Warehouses. Es werden die Rahmenkonzepte für Daten- und Metadatenstrukturen spezifiziert und die Verfahrensweisen zur An- bindung und Verarbeitung von Quelldaten beschrieben.
Es richtet sich vor allem an Entwickler und Administratoren, die im Rahmen der hier gemachten Vor- gaben Prozesse spezifizieren und implementieren bzw. Softwarekomponenten installieren und konfi- gurieren.
Das Metadatenmodell legt zum Teil Strukturen fest, die auch auf der Applikationsseite für Ablage- und Berechtigungskonzepte relevant sind und ist in diesen Teilen auch für Anwendungs- Administratoren von Bedeutung.
2.1 Objekte
Das Objektmodell der Metadaten, die in den Repositories abgelegt werden, soll nicht im Detail darge- stellt werden. Es orientiert sich an dem durch die Object Management Group (OMG) festgelegten Common Warehouse Metamodel (CWM)
An dieser Stelle sollen diejenigen Elemente und deren Repository-Zuordnung und Verwendung be- handelt werden, die für eine Installation und Grundkonfiguration der SAS Software und den Beginn der Implementierung wesentlich sind:
Translation - English 1.2 Purpose of the document
This document describes the base architecture of the BIAF Data Warehouses. The Data and Metadata structures will be specified and the procedures of connecting and processing source data will be described.
It is aimed at all developers and administrators that specify and implement in the framework of the here made process, for example they install and configure software components.
The metadata model defines some substructures that are also relevant for storage and authorization concepts on the application side and is meaningful in these parts for the Operation Administrator, too.
2. Metadata model
2.1 Objects
The Object Model of the metadata that are stored in the Repository does not have to be presented into detail. It is based on the Common Warehouse Metamodel (CWM) format specified by the Object Management Group (OMG).
At this point, there should be treated whatever elements and their Repository allocation and use, which are essential for an installation and basic configuration of the SAS Software and for the beginning of the implementation:

• Especially suitable for repeated scans for therapy response monitoring or follow-up exams

În imagistica oncologică se pot utiliza pe deplin caracteristicile specifice oferite de imagistica simultană prin RMN (Rezonanță magnetică nucleară) și PET (Tomografie cu emisie de pozitroni). Biograful mMR nu furnizează doar informații importante în cursul depistării și stadializării TNM timpurii. Poate fi și un factor decisiv pentru stabilirea planului de tratament, pentru alegerea și monitorizarea procesului terapeutic și pentru examinări ulterioare.
„Imagistica PET - RMN a scos la iveală rezultate suplimentare - neîntâlnite în cadrul metodei curente de referință - la 55 (41%) din 134 de pacienți; rezultatele au influențat conduita terapeutică la 18% din pacienți.”1
Oncologie abdominală și pelvină
• Aliniere precisă a rezultatelor provenite din RMN și PET
• Evaluare îmbunătățită a leziunilor de dimensiuni foarte mici
• Utilă în cazul mai multor aplicații, de ex. stadializarea TNM a cancerului de prostată
Cancerele capului și gâtului
• O aplicație foarte promițătoare o reprezintă stabilirea planului de tratament în cazul tumorilor cerebrale prin combinarea informațiilor metabolice obținute cu ajutorul PET cu imagistica prin RMN BOLD (dependentă de concentrația oxigenului din sânge), prin tractografie RMN și prin RMN cu difuzie ponderată
• Extinderea în viitorul apropiat în practica clinică de rutină
Oncologia pediatrică
• Lipsa radiațiilor ionizante în timpul examinării RMN duce la reducerea dozei totale de radiații
• Este recomandată în mod special în cazul scanărilor repetate pentru monitorizarea răspunsului la tratament sau pentru examinări ulterioare

Work philosophy
How I translate
I work efficiently on my many fields of expertise, where I can deliver quality, timely services. For this to happen, it all starts with evaluation of the vocabulary and language quality. If needed, I use experts for specific terms. I tend to always work with either new or existing term-bases and translation memories to keep consistency. I index and communicate problems easily. I finish my work with a spell check and QA. Sign-off or post-translation services are generally included.
My preferred work
I prefer fresh translations to "servicing" existing translation memories. It's also often the case that MT (machine translations) has little value to me as a source material. I work best if it's about difficult, creative and well paid jobs that require my skills. I am open to any field or service related to translations.
Interpreting
With interpreting, it's a different job. I familiarize myself with the subject and context. The right understanding generates the right stress. I convey an interpretation that is suitable to the listeners' English vocabulary and needs. But it's not just a choice of words, my focus is on seeing that the right message is understood, and that the key information is delivered.
