Source text - English 3. Place of new vehicles
Whether or not proper storage is provided at the distributor or dealer, it has a considerable effect on the quality of new vehicles. It is the distributor’s and dealer’s responsibilities to store new vehicles in a proper place and to maintain the quality of new vehicles until delivery to customers.
Vehicles should be stored in a paved, well-ventilated, clean, dry, closed indoors, and roofed area. If outdoor storage is unavoidable:
1) The area should be well-drained and hard standing surface, preferably concrete or tarmac, which is free from undergrowth.
2) The site and driveways must be kept clean and clear of any obstruction at all times.
3) The area must be enclosed by a secure intruder-proof perimeter fence and the gates securely locked. The site should be under daily surveillance, with unauthorized access prevented at all times.
The site should be located away from areas subject to industrial fallout, sea spray or wind-blown dust and sand. Where fallout conditions are unavoidable it will be necessary to monitor the exterior condition of all cars and wash as necessary. Heavy contamination may require vehicles to have the transit protection coating removed and problems arising from the contamination rectified. Once the transit coating has been removed, the vehicle must not be returned to outdoor storage unless it is fully covered to provide the necessary protection against deterioration.

Правильная организация хранения на месте дислокации Дилера или Дистрибьютора существенно влияет на качество новых автомобилей. Дилер и Дистрибьютор несут полную ответственность за надлежащее хранение новых автомобилей и поддержание их качественного состояния вплоть до передачи клиенту.
Автомобили должны храниться в чистом и сухом помещении с вымощенным полом, кровлей и надлежащей вентиляцией.
Если хранение за пределами помещения неизбежно:
1) Площадка должна иметь эффективную систему водоотвода и твердую поверхность (желательно бетонную или асфальтную) без поросли.
2) Место хранения и подъездные пути должны быть свободными и постоянно содержаться в чистоте.
3) Место хранения должно иметь надежное ограждение по периметру и запираемые въездные ворота. Место хранения должно находиться под круглосуточным наблюдением; организованный пропускной режим должен препятствовать проникновению посторонних лиц.
Место хранения не должно располагаться вблизи объектов промышленных выбросов, на морском побережье или в местах, в которых ветра могут задувать пыль и песок. Если же воздействие осадков или выбросов неизбежно, на месте хранения должен быть организован постоянный контроль состояния экстерьера всех автомобилей и мойка (при необходимости).
Серьезное загрязнение автомобиля может потребовать удаления временного защитного покрытия кузова, что влечет за собой определенные проблемы. После удаления защитного покрытия – в целях обеспечения надлежащей защиты от загрязнений – автомобиль не должен возвращаться на открытое место хранения до полного восстановления защитного покрытия.

Source text - English The standard eight-speed tiptronic has been designed for maximum sportiness in both the new RS 6 Avant performance and the new RS 7 Sportback performance. All gear changes are fast and flexible. The highly efficient oil pump and the heating of the transmission by the engine coolant during the warm-up phase contribute to the high efficiency of the classic torque-converter transmission. A hydraulic accumulator enables the start-stop function. The driver can choose between the modes D and S or change gears manually either by tapping the selector lever or by using the shift paddles on the RS multifunction sport leather steering wheel. In manual mode, a shift indicator in the driver information system (DIS) or optional head-up display indicates the rev limit. While the lower gears of the tiptronic are closely spaced for sporty response, eighth gear is tall to reduce fuel consumption.
quattro permanent all-wheel drive delivers the power to the road and flexibly distributes torque as needed via the center differential. In the standard configuration, 40 percent flows to the front axle and 60 percent to the rear axle. The wheel-selective torque control intervenes as necessary. On request, Audi will combine quattro all-wheel drive with the optional sport differential on the rear axle: It uses two superposition gears to steplessly vary the distribution of the power at the rear axle between the wheels. In fast curves, it literally pushes the RS performance models into the radius.

These instructions or schedules shall include the maintenance and inspection intervals as well as the required operating fluids and materials and the spare parts. Parts and components with a limited service life which have to be checked at regular intervals to ensure service reliability and timely replacement shall be explicitly stated. This should be supported by a repair manual including tightening torques, settings and tolerances as well as other relevant technical specifications. Special tools, including their source of supply, shall also be stated.
The manual shall also state which type of work has to be performed only by the body builders and accessories fitters or their authorised workshops. If the body builder's or accessory fitter's scope of supply includes electric, electronic or mechatronic, hydraulic or pneumatic systems, circuit diagrams and diagnosis routines or similar documentation facilitating a systematic search for faults shall be provided.
