Source text - English A. PURPOSE
To control & regulate the high chair handling and cleaning in between venues and departments properly.
B. POLICY
This is a mandatory task for you to perform cleaning, sanitizing and guiding safety of high chair.
C. PROCEDURES
1. Cleaning & Sanitizing:
• First use paper towel to remove food and patches of dirt on the chair (e.g. Jam, Marmalade, Ketchup, Milk, DUST, etc.)
• Dismantle the tray of high chair according to High Chair User Guide and clean and sanitize as per instructions are written on the Cleaning ,Sanitizing and Handling High chair SOP.
• Start cleaning from top to the bottom.
• Don’t forget to clean the back of the chair and the chair legs.
• The cleaning and sanitizing of high chair’s tray is so important because babies tend to put everything into their mouth.
• Rinse the high chair and ensure that there is no chemical remaining.
• Dry the high chair with disposable paper towel.
• Do not forget that, the babies’ immune systems are weaker than adults’.
• Always sanitize the high chairs after cleaning and before usage.
• Clean & Sanitize after every usage and check high chairs on monthly basis- record on Monthly high chair check list.
2. Inform the Guest:
• Give information to the guests about the high chair is recommended for children up to 18 kg or child be aged 6 months to 3 years old. (Very young babies and infants should not be fed from high chairs.)
If one of the below statement, is seen during the guest usage, inform the guest in a kind way;
• Never allow to leave child unattended.
• Do not use the high chair until child can sit up unaided.
• Never allow a child to stand up in a high chair to prevent falling which results in injury
• Do not stay too far from the high chair especially if the child has shown ability to unfasten the seat belt
• The rubber strap has to be buckle securely together with the feeding tray all the time while the high chair is in use
• Do not let children play around a high chair or climb into it without assistance
• Do not let older children hang onto a high chair while baby is it as the high chair could tip over
• Keep the high chair away from open fire, heaters and the other sources of strong heat.
• Always ensure the high chair is on a level with a stable surface before use.
3. Checking and Maintenance of High Chair:
Check the high chairs on daily basis if the straps/buckles and belts operate correctly and the chair is clean and has been disinfected at the ending of the shift. Record this check on the Daily Cleaning Checklist
Check the high chairs safety as per the guideline on monthly basis; (High Chair User Guide );
• Hygiene Standards are to be followed during the operation as well as work safe methods. (Further inspection of chair requires)
• Check the chair stability which the high chair can be able to stand properly, stable and balanced
• Check all locks or screws with no cracks nor sharpness and ensure that the high chair is screwed tight and are not about to fall off.
• Cleaning check the feeding tray with no cracks to prevent injury on baby skin,
• Check the Strap , buckle and safety belt if operates correctly
• Check the safety bar if it is stable on the high chair
• Check lateral protection and back rest which needed to be clean with no cracks
If you see one of the part is missing, took the high chair out of operation, write on the HOTSOS system to inform the engineering department and record the HOTSOS number on the Monthly High Chair list.
4. Handling High Chair In Between Departments:
After taken the proper information about guest preferences, it can be seen on the PSMS system and Room service team organizes the high chair for the guest room.
If the preferences weren’t written on the system, then the HSK department informs Room Service about this request.
D. TRAINING
All service colleagues should be trained on this P&P and its Appendixes.

Departmanlar arasında ve otel içinde bebek mama sanldayesinin doğru bir şekilde kullanımını ve temizliğini kontrol etmek ve düzenlemek
B. POLİTİKA
Temizlik, sanitasyon ve bebek mama sandalyesinin güvenli kullanımını yürütmek sizler için zorunlu bir görevdir.
C. PROSEDÜR
1. Temizlik ve Sanitasyon:
• İlk olarak kağıt havlu kullanarak gıda ve diğer kirlilikleri sandalye üzerinden uzaklaştırın. (örn: Reçel, marmelat, ketçap, toz vb.)
• Bebek Mama Sandalyesi kullanım klavuzuna göre bebek mama sandalyesinin tepsisini sökünüz ve Bebek Mama Sandalyesi Temizlik, Sanitasyon ve Kullanımı SOP’ de yazan talimatlara göre temizleyip, sanitize ediniz.
• Temizliğe yukarıdan aşağı olacak şekilde başlayınız.
• Sandalyenin arkasını ve bacaklarını temizlemeyi unutmayınız.
• Bebekler herşeyi ağızlarına götürme eğiliminde olduğu için bebek mama sandalyesinin tepsi temizliği çok önemlidir.
• Bebek mama sandalyesini durulayınız ve hiç kimyasal kalıntısı olmadığından emin olunuz.
• Bebek mama sandalyesini, kullan- at kağıt havlu ile kurulayınız.
• Asla, bebeklerin bağışıklık sisteminin yetişkinlerinkinden daha zayıf olduğunu unutmayınız.
• Her zaman bebek mama sandalyelerini kullanım öncesi ve sonrası sanitize ediniz.
• Her kullanım sonrası temizleyip, sanitize ediniz ve aylık olarak bebek mama sandalyelerini kontrol edip, Aylık Bebek Mama Sandalyesi Kontrol Listesi ‘ne kaydediniz.
2. Misafiri Bilgilendirme:
• Misafir, bebek mama sandalyesinin 18kg’ a kadar olan çocuklar için ya da 6 ay’ dan 3 yaşına kadar olan çocuklar için kullanımının önerildiği hakkında bilgi verin.(Çok küçük bebekler ve yeni doğanlar bebek mama sanldayesini kullanmamalıdır.)
Aşağıdakilerden biri, misafirin mama sandalyesini kullandığı sürece görülürse, kibar bir şekilde misafiri bilgilendiriniz;
• Çocuk asla tek başına bırakılmamalıdır.
• Çocuk kendi başına oturabilene kadar bebek mama sandalyesi kullanmayınız.
• Düşme sonucu yaralanmaları önlemek için, asla çocuğun bebek mama sandalyesinde ayağa kalkmasına izin vermeyiniz.
• Özellikle çocuk emniyet kemerini açabilecek yaştaysa, bebek mama sanldayesinden uzakta durmayınız.
• Bebek mama sandalyesinin kullanımı sırasında bağlantı kayışının herzaman emniyetli bir şekilde mama tepsisine takılı olmalıdır.
• Çocukların yardım olmadan kendi başına tırmanarak oturmasına ve bebek mama sandalyesi çevresinde oynamasına izin vermeyiniz.
• Daha büyük yaştaki çocukların içinde bebek varken mama sandalyesi devrilebileceği için tutunmasına izin vermeyiniz.
• Bebek mama sandalyesini şömineden, ısıtıclardan ve diğer güçlü ısı kaynaklarından uzak tutunuz.
• Kullanmadan önce her zaman sandalyenin düz bir zeminle aynı seviyede olduğundan emin olunuz.
3. Bebek Mama Sandalyesinin Kontrolü ve Bakımı:
Günlük olarak bebek mama sandalyelerinin plastic kilitlerinin/kopçalarının ve emniyet kemerinin düzgün bir şekilde takılı olduğunu kontrol ediniz ve bebek mama sandalyesi vardiya sonunda temizlenir ve dezenfekte edilir. Bu kontrolü Günlük temizlik kontrol listesine kaydediniz.
Bebek mama sandelyelerinin emniyetini aylık olarak kullanım klavuzuna göre kontrol ediniz;);
• Güvenli çalışma metodlarıyla birlikte hijyen standardları da operasyon süresince takip edilmelidir.
• Sandalyenin sağlamlığını, dengeli bir şekilde durduğunu kontrol ediniz.
• Bütün kilitleri ve vidaları kontrol ediniz, çatlak yada kesici durumda olmadıklarını, ve mama sandalyesinin vidalarının düşmek üzere olmadığından ve sıkı olduğunu kontrol ediniz.
• Mama tepsisini temizleyiniz ve bebeğe zarar verecek herhangi bir çatlak olmadığını kontrol ediniz.
• Plastik kayış ,kopçaları ve emniyet kemerinin doğru bir şekilde takılı olduğunu kontrol ediniz.
• Mama tepsinin üzerinde bulunduğu emniyet demirinin sabit bir şekilde takılı olduğunu kontrol ediniz.
• Yan ve arkada bulunan korumaların temizliğini ve çatlak olmadığını kontrol ediniz.
Eğer tek bir parçanın kayıp olduğunu görürseniz, bebek mama sandalyesini kullanımdan kaldırınız, HOTSOS sistemine yazarak mühendislik departmanını bilgilendiriniz ve HOTSOS numarasını Aylık Bebek Mama sandalyesi Kontrol Listesine kaydediniz.
4. Departmanlar Arasında Bebek Mama Sandalyelerinin Kullanımı:
Misafirin talebi ile ilgili bilgi alındıktan sonra, bu talep PSMS sisteminden görülebilir ve oda servisi ekibi tarafından odaya istenen mama sandalyesi organize edilir.
Eğer talep sistemem yazılmamışsa, bu durumda kat hizmetleri departmanı bu taleple ilgili oda servisi ekibini bilgilendirir.
D. EĞİTİM
Bütün servis çalışanların bu prosedür ve ekleri hakkında eğitilmelidir.
