a) Check against glossary provided; b) Check with particular focus on medications dosage and units, volume, concentration and frequency; c) Check for consistensy in terminology (e.g. agains list of abbreviations) and with relevant style guides; d) Check for overall correctness of sentences and that content makes sense; e) Double check of titles, protocol references, sponsor references, site identifiers, name of products, footers of the document, inclusion/exclusion criteria, assessments and study procedures, study objectives and endpoints, formatting check; f) Check against reference material; g) Grammar and spell check.

In my quality process, I use regular expressions to fascilitate self-editing and save time.
