Two things I learned from my previous experiences in technical
translation, writing, and Risk Management Analyst position in MUFG bank that
match well with this position were to be faithful, accurate, and continue to
learn. Being faithful and loyal to both the source and target content and its
author and audience, paying attention to detail to make no mistake, and my ability
and urge to fully grasp what’s necessary for every job bring big rewards to my
schoolwork and my translations.
My experiences with translating and glossary managing for technical
translations, such as SDK development manual, product user manual, and technical
Bid Proposal have given me the skills to quickly adapt source content designed
for one region and make it suitable for another in this fast-paced industry; My
constant collaborations with Compliance and policy maintenance in MUFG bank
have given me the sensitivity to legal and policy requirements; And my
multi-culture and multi-subject background have given me the skills to quickly learn
and adjust to the fast-paced dynamics while meeting scheduled milestones and
deliverables.
