See more Dear Members, The rules presented at http://www.proz.com/rules govern all activities on ProZ.com, and are enforced by site moderators and staff. Among the tools used in rules enforcement, there are warnings which are shown to members, or restrictions (blocks) on the use of certain areas of the site. These warnings and blocks are referred to as administrative actions. Until now, members who received warnings or restrictions on their use of the site as a result of rules violations were notified by the moderator or staff member who took the administrative action. Now, in addition to this, administrative action histories will be available to their owners. You will be able to easily see the past and current administrative actions on file for you (if you have any), via your profile. In your profile you should see a new tab, Admin. From there you will be shown a brief text defining administrative actions, and, if you have a past or current administrative action on file you will see: the action (warning or block) the beginning and end dates of the action the area of the site affected the status (active or inactive) the message shown to you regarding the action In addition, next to each administrative action there will be a link to submit a support request on that particular action. If you feel the action was not applied in line with site rules you may use this link to submit the request for evaluation. This link will open a support request containing the specific information needed to identify the administrative action, and will be evaluated by site staff. If you have no history of administrative actions on file, you will be shown the message You have no history of administrative actions.
Note: Your administrative action history will not be visible to other members. If you have any questions regarding site rules or how administrative actions are shown in your profile, please contact staff via support request. Please do not post regarding your own administrative actions in the forum, as the designated area for discussing those matters is the support system. Thanks. Best regards, Jared ▲ Collapse | | | can not find the tab | Nov 22, 2008 |
Dear Jared, It's Nov 22 and I browsed my profile and could not find that Admin tab you mentioned. Could you explain where to look for it, please. Thank you, V.
