I have been using MemoQ for a few months now, and I find that I have to use the mouse a lot more than when I used Trados. Do I just have to study up on the keyboard shortcuts or has anyone else found this difference?

I find I use the mouse more in Trados! May 2, 2011

Hi Miranda,

In MemoQ most things can be done by using keyboard shortcuts - confirming segments, inserting terms and TM matches, using concordance, searching for terms in the termbase, adding new terms to the termbase on the fly, saving the file, inserting the source segment into the target cell...

If you don't know any of these shortcuts, I'll be glad to help out!

Simon

Thanks Simon. I know some of these shortcuts, I just didn't know if I needed to study up to learn more. Now I know I'll get to studying.

There's lots and lots of shortcuts in memoQ. Even more so - you can modify them! I keep finding out new shortcuts and other neat stuff all the time, so it's full of positive surprises.
