It's definitely worth it. I've been a registered user at ProZ.com since 2002, but only started getting jobs through the site after becoming a member. The membership fee paid back after the first order.

Once I discovered ProZ.com, I immediately became a member and started to reply to job offers. Now, thanks to ProZ.com I have many good clients all over the world.Thanks to ProZ.com my dream of becoming a full-time freelance translator has come true, together with a good income. What can I add? Thanks a lot for running the site.

The membership helped me launch my professional career. I began receiving job offers through my profile from outsourcers from both Poland and abroad. In my case, the fee paid off in the very first month of being a full member. Being a paying member doesn't automatically make you a better translator, but it certainly gives you more opportunities.

Avant tout, ProZ représente pour moi une plate-forme d’échanges internationale permettant de côtoyer d’autres traducteurs via les forums et les formations –je pense notamment au France Regional Event- . J’apprécie également la possibilité de pouvoir obtenir des informations sur les agences de traduction et les donneurs d’ordre en général grâce au Blue Board (certes non exhaustif, mais ô combien utile !), et de l’aide en cas de besoin avec les KudoZ. De plus, grâce à ProZ, j’ai trouvé un client avec lequel je travaille régulièrement : espérons que cela ne soit que le début d’une longue série !...

En fait, ProZ offre l’opportunité de développer son réseau à la fois en termes de « collègues » et de clients. Un investissement que je suis donc prête à renouveler !

Je ne peux pas dire dans quelle proportion mon CA a augmenté suite à mon adhésion car j'ai pratiquement démarré mon activité freelance il y quelques années grâce à Proz. Ou alors il faut dire de 0 à 100% ! car mes premiers clients, je les ai trouvés sur Proz. Ma cotisation était payée (largement) dès mon premier contrat.

Personalmente estoy muy contenta con el servicio de ProZ.com y al contribuir pienso que colaboro en la existencia y desarrollo del sitio para beneficio de toda la comunidad de traductores.
