Source text - English Why and how is your personal data processed?
Your personal data is processed by the district court in order to handle a case or other matter before the court. The court processes your personal data as a part of what is known as its exercise of authority or to carry out a task in the public interest.
In order for the court to handle the case, you must provide accurate, up-to-date contact information. The court may also collect contact information from other registries. Your contact information may be used on later occasions if it is needed in another case or matter before the court. Once the case has been concluded, your personal data will be stored in an archive for the amount of time that is required under current archiving legislation.
Persons who are able to access your personal data include the employees of the court and others who need to access the data in order to handle the case, e.g. counterparties or interpreters. Your personal data may, if requested, be submitted to private individuals or journalists, provided that your personal data is not considered to be confidential.
