اكتشفت أن ما يجده الناس في رشاقة معزوفات بيتهوفين وأناقة جمل شكسبير أجده أنا في بحثي عن تلك المعرفة .هذا الشغف لم يلزم مكانه فقررت أن أدرس الفيزياء بالجامعة، ولإيماني بأن العمل ضمن مجموعة شغوفة لهو الطريق الأفضل نحو توفير حاضنة علمية مميزة ومعرفة نوعية ؛ فقد منذ سنتي الأولى ُ سارعت إلى تأسيس النادي العلمي في جامعتي، والذي انتخبت رئيسا له لمرتين على التوالي.
حاولنا من خلاله أن نقوم بجسر الهوة بين ما يتم تعلمه في المحاضرات وبين ما يستجد من موضوعات على ساحة المجتمع الفيزيائي عبر تنفيذ ورشات العمل المتخصصة والمركزة!
فقد انضممت إلى تجمعات فلكية هاوية عملنا سوية على نشر الثقافة الفلكية في غزة بجانب ، علاوة على ذلك تنفيذ فعاليات رصد فلكي ، وأعطيت العديد من المحاضرات العلمية العامة كما واستخدمت صفحتي على الفيس بوك لتبسيط الفيزياء بلغة يفهمها العامة غير المتخصصون!
كانت تلك الأشياء كالماء الذي يروي ظمأ العطشان، ولكن عطشي كان أكبر من أن ترويه بضعة قطرات من الماء في قعر الإناء! الأمر الذي دفعني إلى التسجيل لثلاثة مدارس متقدمة في الفيزياء والفيزياء ! ) في العام الماضي physics and astrophysics(الفلكية
بلت في جميعهم بلا استثناء ،ولكن لسوء الحظ تمكنت من حضور واحدة فقط بسب اغلاق الحدود! ُق
سنوات من الأن :"هل سأحظى بشرف الوصول 6 وهاأنذا اليوم أقدم لهذه الفرصة التي قد سألت نفسي قبل إلى هذا المكان في يوم من الأيام والتحدث إلى أناس هم قادة في مجالهم البحثي" ؟
إنني أعتقد يقينا بأن هذه الفرصة من شأنها أن تعمل على إيجادي في بيئة علمية خصبة بين مجموعة شغوفة الأمر الذي من شانه أن يمنحني مهارات بحثية أعمق وفهما ،من علماء وطلاب الفيزياء من كافة أنحاء العالم أفضل وتساؤلات أكثر ونقاشا أوسع وصورة شمولية أكبر في القضايا الفيزيائية المطروحة!
علاوة على ذلك،، فإن زيارة المسرعات والكواشف عن قرب والعمل على بحث متخصص سوف يمنحني ) التي هي أحد الخيارات particle physicsحصيلة علمية وعملية أعمق في فيزياء الجسيمات ( المرشحة وبقوة لدي لتكون مجال اهتمامي في الدراسات العليا.

Translation - Arabic CERN, that temple of science! It was in 2012 when I first learned about it. Only after the Higgs boson discovery. I was astonished by the news. I found myself applauding with those who shared my feelings towards this discovery in spite of the fact that I didn't fully understand what has happened! My curiosity led me to learn more about this discovery and the reason behind the four detectors which CERN administrates.
Learning about this project made me familiar with new terms. Such as: Particle Physics, The Standard Model, Quantum Mechanics, and many others. As a 10th-grade student, during that time, who is being taught the primary concepts of physics, it was very difficult for me to perceive many of the terms and the mathematical equations that I encountered, so I preserved much passion to search and know more.
I realized that the beauty that people find when listening for Beethoven's symphonies or when reading Shakespeare's sonnets is somehow the same beauty that I have in my passion for science. I knew that Physics is the thing that I want to study in college to proceed with my passion.
As a person who believes that working among a group who share the same passion is the best way to have a distinguished science incubator that helps boosting every member's knowledge, I worked at establishing the science club in my university when I was a freshman, and I was elected as a president of this club twice in a row.
Throughout a number of dedicated workshops, we tried to bridge the gap between what's being taught in lectures and the new topics in Physics.
Moreover, I joined a number of amateur astronomical gatherings and we worked on diffusing astronomical enlightenment in Gaza by performing astronomical observation events. I also gave several science public lectures, and used my Facebook profile to introduce physics to people in a simple language that anyone can understand.
I tried to satisfy my thirst for science by performing those activities, but my eagerness for physics didn't end at this point. That's why I applied for three advanced schools in physics and astrophysics last year. Even though I was accepted in all of those three schools, I was only able to attend one of these schools because of the situation of closing the boarders.
And here I am today applying for this extraordinary opportunity which I've been dreaming about for over 6 years.
I strongly believe that this chance which will allow me to be in a fertile environment of science among a passionate group of physicists and students of physics from all over the world will help me acquire better research skills, a deeper understanding of many of the questions and discussions that I have, and a more comprehensive vision of the current matters of physics.
Additionally, having the opportunity to visit the accelerators and detectors up close and to work on a specialized research will allow me get a deeper scientific and practical outcome in particle physics, which is a field that I am strongly considering to proceed with for my higher education.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that would allow me to have valuable and longlasting contacts with other students and scientists from all over the world.
Should I be lucky enough to get this opportunity, I will certainly do the thing that I am used to do and share all the excitement and the things that I learned with the people here in Gaza once I am back.
