Bio
Hi, I'm an English/Korean translator from Busan, South Korea.
With more than 6 years of experience in translating and diverse global projects, I specialize in academic and business documents including research papers, thesis, and essays across the fields of arts, humanities, social sciences, etc. and contracts, presentations, homepages, product descriptions, proposals, advertisements and more with a number of companies.
I love translating accurately and fluently so that target language readers may read the translated document as if it was written in their original language. I also consider it important to provide punctual translation service with reasonable cost and quick response to my buyers.
My encounter with English goes back more than 20 years when I first visited North Carolina, US as a 10-year-old where I stayed for about 2 years. Not being able to say a single word in school, I have come a long way since then to entering the top international high school in my region with English proficiency, majoring in English Literature in college, and being able to translate between my native language and my beloved second language, English.
With all the knowledge and experiences I accumulated over the course of my life in these two languages, I feel honored to have opportunities to do translations and hope that, in some ways, these efforts contribute to the vast global communications, interactions and sharings which I had the privilege to enjoy and enrich my life with up to this day.
