Bio

Coming from a bilingual background in English and Icelandic, I have always had a flair for languages. Living and working in Denmark for 10+ years has given me a very high proficiency in Danish. My university degree in language education, linguistics, and human resource development as well as several senior positions within those fields, have enabled me to reach the high level of excellence and all-round experience I use in my work as a translator.

Living and working in the
US, Europe, Asia, and Mexico, I can draw on my cultural insights and hands-on
experience in teaching, digital solutions, curricula development, government policy
work, agile project management, and process consulting.

I understand the importance of translating within a cultural context and relevant professional scope, however big or small the project may be. My motto is to reach my deadlines and always strive for excellence.
