Upgrading CafeTran

I am using 10.8 Cornetto.

For various reasons I don't need to go into here, I am using an older version of MacOS (El Capitan).

To upgrade, I select "Download for Mac - Intel chip"

The install downloads as normal but then I get this:

I assume that means I can't upgrade on this computer. Is that correct?

I don't mind because I am very happy with Cornetto.

El Capitan is a bit outdated so it may block the installation of the latest CafeTran version for some reason. If you are happy with the 10.8 version, just keep it in your system and switch to the new version only when you update your system or change the computer.

Thanks LiLi- see Igor's reply above yours.

I love CafeTran and the version I have runs very well on the old El Capitan I'm still using because on El Capitan I can run various old software applications I still need. Since everything is working so well for me on El Capitan, I don't see any reason why I should upgrade. Is there anything really good in the newest version of CT that would make it worthwhile?
