Good or bad - right?!

Only good music here. So yeah different kinds ... what (good music) are you listening to now, in 2021?

Let me see. Here's something I'm listening to today:

Tchaikovsky for Gopniks Nov 3, 2021

Question was to what music I am listening now (= today, in 2021). Here's the result:

https://youtu.be/eOlUU8l8j5M

I had to make some cultural research about the term "gopnik", which can't be better expressed than by the clip above. Setting in the video does not represent Kiel, but we have similar quarters (and people) here.

A CYBER'S WORLD? Nov 7, 2021

Finally finished up Deltarune Chapter 2. I know, I know. It's way overdue, but I was busy and I took my sweet time playing it + hunting some secrets. After playing the whole chapter, I must say I'm a big fan of this track. It's my favorite so far in both Chapter 1 and 2 combined.

Here, have a listen:

Since my husband passed away last year, this song has struck my heart the most:

Cody Johnson - 'Til You Can't

I wish everyone a good and productive week,

1960s British Invasion Music/Beautifully Orchestrated Duets/Broadway Tunes Aug 4, 2022

Over the past couple of years, I have been listening to a lot of 1960s British Invasion (of the US) artists like Chad & Jeremy (who were actually more popular in the US) and Petula Clark, who is now close to 90, but still performing (although her voice sounds a lot deeper). Time to Say Goodbye, which is often referred to as the most beautiful recorded love song of all time. I like to watch the videos with the original versions of songs from West Side Story, also very beautiful, and the movie soundtrack, written by Rodgers and Hammerstein, of the 1960's classic, The Sound of Music, starring Julie Andrews.

Sandie Shaw Aug 4, 2022

Hi Barbara,

I get nostalgic a lot these days.
It's amazing that I will always remember where I heard this song for the very first time. We (parents and 4 kids) were visiting Vienna and we were at the foot of the Danube Tower (a TV tower) which has a revolving restaurant high up.
We were leaving the place and I heard the song coming out of a loudspeaker. Have loved it since then (1967). Always see myself in front of that tower when I hear it.

Sandie Shaw's Puppet On A String (Eurovision song contest winner). It was a very positive song for me then and still is despite any of the lyrics. It's probably because of her voice and the wonderful way she sings it.
