My all-time favorite - admittedly slightly straying off topic, tho'!
We have a lovely sign with "WYBMADIITY" in old-fashioned lettering that sits proudly behind our bar at home - used to belong to my grandfather

It would be my pleasure to inform anyone with insufficient Googling skills what this refers to at the next Powwow we attend together

I am afraid that I WBYADIYTM. The air fare to Oz for Powwows is a bit OTT, IMHO.

So all I can say is "Sumimasen"

LOL! Thanks for the offer of BMADIITY - in that case, I may have to jet over there for a UK Powwow! - alternatively, I could raise my glass in a virtual salute across the oceans. (Wouldn't be the first time - where are you, MediaMatrix?)

P.S. Apologies to Michael for hijacking the thread

Edited to correct the spelling of Textklick (apologies and ::blush:: )

Whitey Whitey Kay Mar 18, 2008

WYBMADIITY reminds me of this old one from the British World War II radio comedy show ITMA (which is an abbreviation itself).

Whitey Whitey Kay.
Whitey Whitey Kay, what does that mean?
You're too young to know.

(ITMA stood for "It's That Man Again", the man being Tommy Handley).
