In virtue of your question, I will incorporate a section in the Level 3 webinar (March 25) to talk a little bit about this issue. I might even create a level 4 just for that at the end of this year, if I have the time. I will not be able to touch on the "specifics" of Italy, except to use it as an example (we have students from many countries). Good Question!

I am especially interested in issues involved in translating financial statements from Italian to English and French to English, and how the adoption of international IFRS accounting standards have shaped the Italian Accounting Organization's (OIC) development of the classification and principles adopted in financial reporting.
