Monolingual transcribers: rate, job

Hi,

I would like to know from monolingual transcribers if you get good transcription jobs, if you get jobs that pay a decent rate.
I've been in this field for more than 4 years and unfortunately I've noticed that the rates paid to Portuguese transcribers are getting lower and lower. I've also noticed that there are very few jobs for Portuguese transcribers.
