Welcome! Jan 22, 2011

Dear Longhu,
Welcome!
There are many things to do. But just to begin, go through the site's "FAQ/site documentation" and "Site rules" under the "About" menu on the Home page.
Good luck,
Alireza

Hi

Welcome dude

Which websites did you sign up?

I think translators get 1% of response in the beginning. Then after some months or years when you have a portfolio, people start giving you too much work lol

Use your real name in translator portals like Proz.com. Although there could be exceptions, nobody hires a nickname these days!

Welcome! Jan 23, 2011

Welcome to ProZ!

I'm happy to see another Korean translator around. There are way too few of us ^^

I see that you studied at Yanbian University. I have a lot of Korean-Chinese friends and some of them have studied there as well. Oh, and in 2007 I visited 연길 and even took a trip up to 창백산. It's really convenient that everyone there also speaks Korean ^^

Have fun on ProZ!

Happy to someone can speak korean also. So have you been to Yanbian? Yanbian is my

hometown though I am not living there now. I only go there on new years day to visit my

Sure, Yanbian is charismatic small city mostly with Korean-chinese people like another Seoul.

If you travel to yanbian later, I am very happy to guide you there.

By the way, wish you help me to get started as freelance translator.

hi, tomas Jan 24, 2011

Hi tomas,

thanks for your kind comments. I have not taken seriously about this case.

I have several names like, Quan Longhu( chinese name on passport), Ted Jeon( English

name). So you mean, I should use the chinese name on my profile communicating with

customer?

Thank you
